Salmon Creek Select Home Page

Now entering its third season, we're proud to offer select soccer as part of Salmon Creek Soccer Club's mission to provide a healthy and emotionally nurturing program for youth, with an emphasis upon developing a positive self-image and self-confidence, while challenging oneself to succeed.

As compared to state-level (premier) teams, such as FC Salmon Creek, select (district-level) programs form teams which play local summer tournaments, then participate in a local district league during the fall season. Some teams also choose to compete in the end-of-the-year state tournament, beginning in January. SC Select coaches are volunteers, but highly-qualified to coach at this level. This program offers players a more competitive experience than our recreational program, with financial costs greater than recreational play--but substantially lower than participating on a state-level (premier) team.

SC Select and FC Salmon Creek operate under the auspices of Salmon Creek Soccer Club, meeting the differing needs of Salmon Creek's players and families. Salmon Creek Soccer Club's ALC (Advanced Level Competition) Committee oversees the administration of both advanced divisions.

Tryouts for SC Select will be held beginning March 15th at Felida Park.

The GU14 Synergy (formally known as the Tri-Mountain Avalanche) have joined SC Select for the 2008-2009 season!
