Premier Soccer Program

Salmon Creek Soccer Club operates a competitive soccer program called FC Salmon Creek (FCSC) for players from U10-U18 age groups.

Salmon Creek-Premier Mission Statement:
Salmon Creek Soccer Club is committed to build and maintain a soccer community on Westside of Vancouver that:

• Provides high quality and competitive soccer program for motivated young athletes;
• Cultivates a culture that values character, sportsmanship and teamwork; and
• Inspires passion for sport through the game of soccer.

Salmon Creek-Community Philosophy:

• Encourage a balance of family, school and soccer.
• Encourage parent involvement in the support functions for the teams. Maintain open communication with parents.
• Develop high quality teams that attract players from Westside and surrounding communities and neighborhoods.
• Maintain a positive relationship with other Local Clubs to become a natural and local 'next step' for the player seeking a more competitive level of soccer.
• Adopt a Code of Conduct for players, parents and coaches that promote exemplary behavior on and off the field.

Salmon Creek-Premier Soccer Philosophy:

• Focus on long term player development with the goal of preparing boys and girls for High School, ODP and College soccer and beyond.
• Provide trained and experienced coaches who embrace the Salmon Creek mission and philosophy.
• Concentrate on mastery of individual ball handling and movement fundamentals to support a 'possession' style of soccer that emphasizes teamwork and creative play.
• Develop players from within our own recreational program using our technical Player Development Academy training concepts.
• Salmon Creeks' collaborative structure should lead to stronger recreational programs through clinics and camps and Player Development Academy
