Olympic Development Program Successes!Congratulations to the following players, recently selected for the '95 ODP team in Oregon: BOYS--Chris Graser, James Nosack, Trevor Thomas, Josh Russell GIRLS--Kavita Battan, Katelyn James, Brynne Silvey All of these players competed for FCSC this fall, and all were coached by Victor Garcette on either his GU-14 Nemesis 94 team or BU-14 Juventus 94 team. We are very proud of each player, while acknowledging the guiding hand Victor has had in their individual successes. [ Return to Top ] FCSC Teams Finish Atop Their State-Level DivisionsWe wish to congratulate the following FC Salmon Creek teams for finishing atop their respective Washington State Premier League fall divisions: • U-14 Boys: FCSC Juventus 94 Both teams, coached by FCSC Coaching Director Victor Garcette, competed in Division 1, Washington state's top classification. Congratulations to these teams for excelling at the highest level! [ Return to Top ] GU-12 Nemesis 96 Takes 1st Place in Oswego Nike Cup! Congratulations to the FC Salmon Creek GU-12 Nemesis 96 for another 1st place win. Our girls are the champions of the Oswego Nike Cup after an exciting championship game against Clackamas U Stykers that went into PK's. The game ended at a 2-2 tie. Nemesis took the title after scoring 4-1 on the PK's. They went undefeated 3-1, 3-0, 3-0 and 3-2 . Way to go, girls! We would like to thank the players, the coaches and the great families of this wonderful group of girls! [ Return to Top ] JUVENTUS 97 TAKES 1ST PLACE IN BEAVERTON CUP The boys of Juventus 97 went undefeated to win 1st place in the Beaverton Cup Tournament. Winning 4-1, 8-0 and 5-1, the team went on to win the Championship 3-2 against a tough Bridlemile Soccer Club team. We would like to thank the players, the coaches and the great families of this wonderful group of boys. Go Juventus 97!! And GO FCSC! [ Return to Top ] FC Salmon Creek: SCSC's State-Level Division!FC Salmon Creek (FCSC) is the state-level division of Salmon Creek Soccer Club. FCSC fields teams that are formed through tryouts. These teams compete in either the Washington State Youth League "Premier" or District 5 Gold League "Select" based on age and abilities. All FCSC teams compete in the Washington State Youth Soccer Association state cups held beginning in January. FC Salmon Creek coaches are selected through an interview process, are highly-qualified, and are paid for their services on a contractual basis. We pride ourselves on making certain soccer is fun, rewarding, and a learning experience for our young athletes, as they develop their skills and abilities to their highest levels.
